Providing Life-Changing Opportunities

Since 1973, Branches has been helping hardworking families and their children break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing them with life-changing opportunities to become better educated, more financially stable and able to make long-term, positive life choices. Branches is one of the only South Florida organizations using a 2 Generational Approach to provide holistic services and develop transformational relationships with both children AND their families.

This year, Branches is serving 450 students and nearly 15,000 people through its four core programs:

  • Grow – The Grow Program serves elementary students helping them develop a love for learning and the social-emotional skills needed to stay engaged in school and life.
  • Climb – The Climb Program serves middle and high school students focusing on college and career preparation.
  • Climb Higher - The Climb Higher Program coaches young adults to post-secondary completion through mentoring and scholarships.
  • Achieve – The Achieve Programs offer financial wellness services to families including: one-on-one financial coaching, micro-business support, community IDs, transportation solutions, tax preparation and emergency services.
