Providing Life-Changing Opportunities

Since 1973, Branches has been helping hardworking families and their children break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing them with life-changing opportunities to become better educated, more financially stable and able to make long-term, positive life choices. Branches is one of the only South Florida organizations using a 2 Generational Approach to provide holistic services and develop transformational relationships with both children AND their families.

This year, Branches is serving over 15,000 people through its four core programs:

  • Grow – Helps elementary students develop a love for learning through after-school academic and enrichment activities.
  • Climb – Supports middle and high school youth in becoming better students and better people with a focus on post-secondary preparation and career exploration.
  • Climb Higher - Supports young adults in completing post-secondary education through financial coaching, mentoring and the Climb Higher Scholarship.
  • Achieve – Helps adults achieve financial wellness through: one-on-one financial coaching, financial education, micro-business support, community IDs, and free tax preparation.
